Michigan State records wild interception against Iowa

The momentum was about to be Iowa’s in the Big Ten championship.

Up 6-3 and facing third-and-goal at Michigan State’s 5-yard line, Hawkeyes’ quarterback C.J. Beathard looked for the end zone. The ball hit tight end George Kittle’s hands, but bounced off, rolled onto Spartans’ linebacker Riley Bullough’s shoulder, and just as it was about to fall to the ground as an incomplete pass, defensive back Demetrious Cox snatched it up for an interception.
