ESPN's College GameDay in Ames is officially in the books, and it will be one to remember.

There were upset picks, precise troll jobs, some awesome signs and inspiring stories from both the Iowa State and Iowa sides ahead of Saturday's game.

No. 12 Iowa (1-0) travels to Jack Trice Stadium in Ames to face No. 10 Iowa State (1-0) in what most consider the biggest Cy-Hawk contest to date. Fans can watch the game at 3:30 p.m. CT on ABC.

But before the game kicks off, let's look back at the five best moments from ESPN's College GameDay in Ames.

Lee Corso trolls the Iowa State crowd

Lee Corso's picks highlight the conclusion of College GameDay broadcasts each week, and on Saturday, he made sure to give the Cyclones a slight jab when talking about the Cy-Hawk trophy.

"I wanted to show it to Iowa State fans because they haven't seen it in a while," Corso said before donning a Herky mascot head and predicting an Iowa victory.

Iowa State fan Nick Bassett pumps up the College GameDay crowd

Nick Bassett is quite the hype man.

ESPN shared the Iowa State super fan's story, which was wonderfully told on Sept. 3 by the Register's Tommy Birch, during the College GameDay broadcast and gave Bassett a moment to address the crowd in Ames. Bassett spoke earlier this week with the Iowa State football team, and explained what he told the Cyclones.

"I told them that I will, we will beat the Hawkeyes this Saturday," he said before pumping up the crowd with a "Cyclone power" chant.
