City High and West High players line up for the coin toss before their game at West High on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016. In the six year's I've worked for the Press-Citizen, this was the first time I ever photographed the coin toss at a high school game. I only shot it because of the beautiful sky behind the players and got lucky that the stadium lights reflected off the coin.
